This ensemble production is a Valentine’s smorgasbord of well-loved songs, comedy, and tales of love lost and won, with a bit of Black History woven in. Audiences will enjoy renditions of Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable, as well as special hits from Billie History, and Marvin Gaye.  directed/produced by Chris Weatherhead from the award-winning Actors’ Theatre of SC.

Public Works Art Center is a forthcoming community arts hub, located in the old Post Office in the heart of Downtown Summerville. Thanks to the generosity of the Commissioners of Public Works, the former tenants and owners of the building.  At Public Works Art Center, we will offer studio spaces for artists, engaging exhibitions, art classes for adults and children, a boutique gift shop, music events, an outdoor market, a special event rental space, and so much more.

Our mission is to preserve, protect and promote the cultural heritage of the Gullah Geechee People who have lived in the southeastern portion of the United States of America from North Carolina to Jacksonville Florida 30 miles inland (known as the “Low Country”) for over 300 years. To connect all people, not just in the 50 states, but internationally throughout the Diaspora, Europe, Caribbean and Africa.

Jack Wright’s highly acclaimed tribute to Neil Diamond is an authentic and sophisticated evening of hit songs that have kept Neil Diamond in the hearts of his fans for more than five decades. Jack and his Heartlight Showband join the POPS! to capture the essence of Neil’s timeless multi-generational appeal. With appealing and entertaining storytelling, Jack’s show is pure Neil, connecting with his audience – a true Neil Diamond experience. The 24-song show includes favorites like “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Hello Again,” “Play Me,” “Song Sung Blue,” “I am I Said,” “Sweet Caroline” and “Coming to America.” You won’t want this evening to end!
